This policy covers lettherebeweb.com. Let There Be Web is a DBA of the same independent practice behind caseyintulsa.com — run by one person, not a larger agency. It describes what information gets collected when you visit or use the contact form, and what happens to it. No user accounts, no e-commerce, no data sold to anyone.
What Gets Collected Automatically
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages get read and where visitors come from. That sets a Google Analytics cookie in your browser and sends Google things like the pages you viewed, your approximate location (from your IP address, not GPS), your browser and device type, and the site that sent you here. Google's own privacy policy covers how it handles that data on its end. You can opt out sitewide with Google's browser add-on, or block it with your browser's cookie settings. The site also loads type from Google Fonts, a standard request that doesn't set a tracking cookie.
What Gets Collected When You Reach Out
The contact form asks for your name and email (required), and optionally your current website. That information, along with your message, gets sent directly into HubSpot, the CRM used to keep track of project inquiries. HubSpot is a third party; their own privacy policy covers how they handle data on their end. It isn't sold, and it isn't shared with anyone beyond that.
How I Use It
To respond to whatever you asked about, and nothing else. Your submission doesn't get added to a marketing list, used for ads, or handed off to anyone outside the CRM used to track the conversation.
Cookies
The cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones described above, plus a short-lived one from HubSpot if you submit the contact form, tied to your inquiry so the source page is visible alongside it. Neither is used for advertising or shared for tracking elsewhere. There's no cookie wall, since nothing here requires you to accept anything before reading the site.
How Long Information Is Kept
Contact-form submissions stay in the CRM as long as reasonably useful for following up on the conversation, generally no more than a couple of years past the last time we talked. Analytics data follows Google's own retention settings, which default to a standard retention window rather than indefinite storage.
Your Choices
If you want to know what's on file from a past contact-form submission, or want it deleted, just say so, either by replying to whatever conversation you already started, or through the contact form on this site. I'll handle it directly since there's no larger organization or support queue standing between you and the actual person who has your information.
Children's Privacy
This site is built for business owners and isn't directed at children. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes To This Policy
If what this site collects or how it's used changes in a meaningful way, this page gets updated and the date at the top changes with it. There's no separate notification list, since checking this page is the way to stay current.
